About Me

As a Cape Cod washashore at a young age, I am thankful to have had the privilege of providing physical therapy services to families on Cape Cod and the Islands for over two decades. In particular, it has been an honor and a blessing to provide physical therapy for young children. As a parent myself, I understand the challenges of raising a child, especially when unexpected concerns arise.

When I am not practicing, I can be found spending time with my family and friends enjoying the outdoors. Whether on land or water, I am always keeping an eye out for an unexpected wildlife sighting.

My Approach

My approach to clinical practice is quite simple. First and foremost, I believe in leading with kindness and respect. I will listen to your story and your concerns so that I can discern how best to support you in your journey with your child.

As a provider of physical therapy for young children, I always seek to partner with parents and guardians. While I bring clinical knowledge and expertise, you are the expert on your child. Together, we can find the most strategic and productive ways to help your child achieve their gross motor milestones and address any complicating medical concerns that are impacting their development.

Kind Words

As Shared by Parents of Former Patients

Lisa has been an incredible part of our child’s early intervention journey. What truly sets her apart is her holistic approach. She sees the whole child. Her depth of knowledge and experience is evident in every interaction, and her passion for helping children thrive shines through in the most genuine and inspiring way. She consistently goes above and beyond — not only in therapy sessions, but in the time she takes to educate, encourage, and empower families. Her commitment doesn’t stop when the session ends; she’s been a tireless advocate and a trusted partner throughout our child’s progress.

Words can’t fully express the gratitude we feel for Lisa. When our son first began physical therapy, he struggled with basic mobility, and we weren’t sure what his future would look like. Through patience, skill, and genuine compassion, Lisa helped him gain not just strength and movement—but confidence and independence. Every session was filled with encouragement and expertise. Lisa took the time to explain every step, provided a home exercise program, a referral to an orthotist whom we love, and communicated with other providers to ensure cohesive care for our son. When others thought our son couldn't do it, Lisa was committed to helping him reach his fullest potential. Today, watching him run, play, and move freely feels nothing short of a miracle. Lisa is the best there is. We will forever be thankful for the professionalism, dedication, and heart that changed our child’s life.

Lisa met my daughter and I when my daughter was five weeks old. She had just been diagnosed with a birth injury that had a very uncertain outcome. Over the course of the next three years, Lisa played an integral part in my daughter’s recovery. She was constantly guiding us while at the same time meeting us where we were at in the day to day. Her knowledge was always shared professionally and positively in ways that made the hard days easier to navigate and her recovery attainable. She explained and listened, challenged and cautioned, pushed us forward and passed us along in all the right ways to ensure that my daughter received the care that she needed for the maximum amount of recovery to occur. Her ability to work among other professionals to ensure seamless transitions made those times so much easier to navigate. Lisa doesn’t just know how to do her job, she cares deeply about doing it purposefully so that parents have the support they need to help their child. I am happy to say that those early years of my daughter’s life spent with Lisa opened a door to her future that I couldn’t have ever imagined at that time. Her knowledge and skill was an investment in my daughter’s future and I am forever grateful for both.
